I am an eclectic counselor who uses an open and integrative approach to address the unique needs of each individual, based on the client’s problem, treatment goals and expected outcome. I have 2 years in clinical practice as LPC-Intern and an additional 5 years of experience in clinical mental health. I am experienced in working with clients with depression, anxiety, psychosis and various traumas. I also welcome clients who need to address self-esteem, family conflict, relationships, parenting, and financial problems, to mention a few.
I am compassionate, friendly and approachable. While I will be supportive and provide you with a comfortable environment to ensure therapeutic communication, I can ensure you of a professional atmosphere where you will feel safe, secure and free to express yourself without any judgment or ridicule. I will work with you to brainstorm coping skills and problem-solving interventions that are suitable to address any challenges presented.
I am a fun-loving person who enjoys traveling across the globe and learning other people’s cultures while sharing mine in an integrative and therapeutic manner. I believe that the world is a global village and all humans are connective; therefore, I am open to work with clients in diverse cultures. I enjoy listening to music, singing and dancing, reading and spending time with my friends and family.
I enjoy working with adolescents/teens, adults and the older adults individually and with families, when needed.
