Amanda is a graduate student currently pursuing a Master of Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at the University of Houston. She graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a minor in Ethnic Studies from the University of Houston-Downtown. Following graduation, she plans on becoming a Licensed Professional Counselor.
Her clinical experiences include working with children, adolescents, and adults with a variety of mental health challenges including autism, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and depression. Amanda’s goal in therapy is to support her clients as they discover their unique strengths and learn how to apply them to everyday situations. She loves watching the transformation in people who have just reclaimed control over their thoughts and behaviors.
In her spare time, she enjoys spending time outdoors with her family and serving on the production team at her church.
We are currently providing virtual sessions to protect the safety of staff and clients. Wellness is our priority!
