Dr. Alicia Moore is an encouraging and passionate counselor who finds joy empowering others who have the vision to focus on newfound strengths, accomplishments, and successes in their lives. Dr. Moore is dedicated to working with adolescents, adults, and couples to help assist with a variety of issues related to the mental well-being, including depression, self-esteem, anger management, substance abuse, anxiety, and insomnia.
Dr. Moore is a Licensed Professional Counselor-Supervisor approved by the Texas State Board of Examiners of Licensed Professional Counselors (No. 71364) and Licensed Professional Counselor approved by the Colorado State Board of Examiners of Licensed Professional Counselors (No. 0016742). Dr. Moore is a graduate of Delta State University with a B.A. in Psychology, Mississippi State University with a M.S. in Clinical Mental Health (CACREP accredited program), and Walden University with a Ph.D. in Counselor Education and Supervision (CACREP accredited program). Dr. Moore has experience working as a mental health therapist where she has provided therapy to the incarcerated population as well providing individual therapy with private practices. Dr. Moore is also a National Certified Counselor with experience working with sex offenders, youth at risk, substance abusers, and pre-marital and marital couples. Self-care for Dr. Moore consists of reading a book, going to the movies, spending time with family, her pet, and friends, a mani/pedi, and traveling.
